Revd Matt Hodder

We are looking forward to Rev Matt’s ordination as a Priest on Saturday 25th  September, at 11.00 am at Rochester Cathedral. I know that Matt’s ministry has been very much appreciated, and we are delighted to see that ministry develop as he works across the Team churches. As we have come to expect, numbers attending the Cathedral in person will be strictly limited.  If you would like the opportunity to attend, please let me know, and we will do our very best to allocate the available tickets fairly. The whole service will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend in person.  Please continue to pray for Rev Matt and for his wife Jen in these exciting days. Please also pray for their children, Zach and Annie, and for the new baby they are expecting in November.

Living in Love and Faith

The Bexley Team is going to be running the 'Living in Love and Faith' (LLF) course in September and October. LLF is an official project of the Church of England, intended to provide resources for Christian teaching and learning about identity, sexuality, relationships and marriage. Parishes throughout the country are being encouraged to take part in this course and use it as a tool to listen and engage with one another. We will be running the 5 week course on the following Wednesday evenings (15th, 22nd, 29th Sept, and the 6th and 13th October) at St John's Church from 7.45pm-9.15pm. If you would like to attend the course please can you let Rev Matt know.
