The Collect: O God, you declare your almighty power most chiefly in showing mercy and pity: mercifully grant to us such a measure of your grace, that we, running the way of your commandments, may receive your gracious promises, and be made partakers of your heavenly treasure; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
The Additional Collect: God of glory, the end of our searching, help us to lay aside all that prevents us from seeking your kingdom, and to give all that we have to gain the pearl beyond all price, through our saviour Jesus Christ.
Charity Cake & Coffee Morning: Monday 29th August 2022, 10am-12noon in the St John's Church Hall. Organised by Cameron Henderson (one of our younger congregation members) in aid of Bexley Foodbank. Please come and support this local charitable initiative.
St Mary’s The church will be open for visitors from 10.00 am to midday on Saturday’s in September.
Bexley Cricket Festival- Saturday 17th September has been cancelled. This is because Bexley Cricket Club have reached the final of the ECB National Club Championships and will be playing Nantwich at Lords on the 17th. Congratulations to BCC and we wish them well for the final.
Ride and Stride Chris Thomas will be taking part in ‘Ride and Stride’ on 10th September raising funds for Friends of Kent Churches and St Mary’s. Sponsor Chris by signing up in church.
