The Collect: Almighty God, whose only Son has opened for us a new and living way into your presence: give us pure hearts and steadfast wills to worship you in spirit and in truth; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
The Additional Collect: Merciful God, your Son came to save us and bore our sins on the cross: may we trust in your mercy and know your love, rejoicing in the righteousness that is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord
Forest Church - Sunday 18th September – 3.00 pm at St James's. Forest Church returns from our summer break as we're kicking off with all things Sporting. Join us to run, hop, skip and jump our way to learning more about God's amazing creation.
Harvest Festival services
Sunday 2nd October St John’s at 10.00 am (followed by bring and share lunch)
Sunday 9th October St James's at 9.30am, St Barnabas at 10.45 am, St Mary’s at 10.00 am (followed by harvest lunch in hall at midday)
St John’s: Family Communion: 1st Sunday of every month. Toddler Church: Toddler Church on Fridays at 2.00 pm. Harvest Festival will be celebrated during the 10.00 am Family Communion Service on the 2nd October, and will be followed with a bring and share lunch at which a collection will be taken for the work of Bexley Foodbank. A memorial Songs of Praise service for Rosie Fyfe will take place at 6.00 pm on Sunday 16th October at St John's.
