Our theme this month was 'Our Changing Seasons'

This month we returned to Forest Church after a month away, as we couldn't meet in February due to some damage to the churchyard from Storm Eunice. However, you couldn't have seen a more contrasting picture from last month, where this time we were bathed in Spring sunshine as we explored our beautiful surroundings. 

Our theme this month was 'Our Changing Seasons' and we took on many challenges to try and document the different seasons we experience. We took part in a springtime treasure hunt, began painting an ambitious piece of art depicting the four seasons of the year, and also made some apple and sunflower seed feeders for the birds. We thought about the bible verse from Ecclesiastes 3, where the writer tells us that there is a season for everything in life. In spite of what season we may find ourselves in right now, we know that God will always love us and provide for us in our day to day lives.

Next month we will meet on Sunday 17th April, for an Easter Sunday Special service. Come along at 3pm for an Easter Egg hunt (with real chocolate!) mud crafts, painting and a tea party! See you there.
