All gardens and open spaces benefit from a little bit of a tidy up now and again.The local council mow the grass in the church yard, but there are other areas that could be improved by some cutting back and clearing. So you don't need to be a Monty Don to come along and help out, just a willing pair of hands, and if you have some gardening tools, including pruners, and loppers, then bring those along too!
Of course if you do happen to bump into Monty Don OBE between now and then you could always mention it to him.....!
