It’s all down to teamwork
St James Church may be small in stature, but it still requires a lot of support, and money, to maintain. We are incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people who help in so many different ways, not just in church for all to see but behind the scenes. Those who sit on various committees and oversee the smooth running of the church and Bothy; arrange the flowers; clean the church and Bothy; tend the Bothy garden; ensure the churchyard always looks its best; run the website; produce, print and deliver the Parish Magazine. Plus, all the many other jobs that need to be dealt with from day to day. We appreciate and thank you all for your time and dedication to St James.
We would like to say a very special thank you to Mrs Greeta Robbins, who for the past 25 years has delivered the Parish Magazine each month in her local area. Sadly, she has decided the time has come to retire. I’m sure many of you have got to know Mrs Robbins over the years and would like to join us in thanking her for her dedication.
The Parish Magazine provides the church with a very useful income and we are very grateful to our volunteers such as Mrs Robbins, as well as our loyal readers, for supporting us.
If you would like to submit an article for possible inclusion in the magazine, please send it to the Editor, Steve Blake – sblakestjames@virginmedia.com. If you are interested in placing an advertisement for a reasonable fee, please contact the Editor in the first instance.
Have you seen our new website? – www.stjamesnorthcray.org.uk. It went live recently and looks wonderful, all thanks to Peter Collins. Please do take a look.
