The Collect Almighty God, who alone can bring order to the unruly wills and passions of sinful humanity: give your people grace so to love what you command and to desire what you promise, that among the many changes of this world, our hearts may surely there fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
The Additional Collect Eternal God, whose Son went among the crowds and brought healing with his touch: help us to show his love, in your church as we gather together, and by our lives as they are transformed into the image of Christ our Lord.
Lent Course 2022 Join us this Lent as we explore ‘The Prayers of Jesus’.
On Zoom Wednesdays from 8.00 -9.15pm, starting on the 9th March. Course dates: 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th March, and 6th April.
Or in person at St Mary’s Thursdays from 10.00 -11.15am, starting on the 10th March. Course dates: 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st March, and 7th April.

Friends of St Mary’s diary dates- 22nd April an outing to Pashley Manor Tulip Festival £30 per person to include coach travel, entry and gratuities. 30th April at 7.00 pm a talk on the History of St Mary’s by Dr Cindy Wood. £5 to include light refreshments. Further details of these events to follow.

Please note that unlike pre-pandemic seasons, referrals are welcome from both male and female guests.
St Mary’s Bexley and St Barnabas Joydens Wood Mothers’ Union Branch because of covid concerns, it has been decided to postpone the branch AGM until the next monthly meeting at 2.30pm on Thursday 24th February.
