The Collect Almighty Father, whose Son was revealed in majesty before he suffered death upon the cross: give us grace to perceive his glory, that we may be strengthened to suffer with him and be changed into his likeness, from glory to glory; who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
The Additional Collect Holy God, you know the disorder of our sinful lives: set straight our crooked hearts, and bend our wills to love your goodness and your glory in Jesus Christ our Lord.
Zoom services As we move into the warmer months, and as Covid numbers locally have been reducing week on week we have been reviewing our Zoom provision, recognising that it is not sustainable indefinitely, especially as we move into the holiday season.
Therefore it has been decided that Saturday Nightwatch will come to an end as Lent begins, with the final session being on Saturday 26th February. Attendees are encouraged to connect with the Team Lent Course (The Prayers of Jesus) which will be delivered on Zoom each Wednesday evening, starting on Wednesday 9th March at 8.00 pm (as well as being offered in-person on a Thursday morning.)
The Sunday Zoom Service will continue through Lent, with the final session being on Sunday 3 April. You are then encouraged, if you are able, to attend in-person worship on Palm Sunday and Easter Day, or if you prefer a smaller congregation, at our midweek Communion service on a Wednesday morning. For online provision, however we will offer a Holy Week midweek Zoom service on Wednesday 13th April at 8.00 pm and thereafter each Wednesday evening at 8.00 pm. On Zoom Wednesdays from 8.00 -9.15pm, starting on the 9th March. Course dates: 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th March, and 6th April.
Or in person at St Mary’s Thursdays from 10.00 -11.15am, starting on the 10th March. Course dates: 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st March, and 7th April.

Friends of St Mary’s diary dates- 22nd April an outing to Pashley Manor Tulip Festival £30 per person to include coach travel, entry and gratuities. 30th April at 7.00 pm a talk on the History of St Mary’s by Dr Cindy Wood. £5 to include light refreshments. Further details of these events to follow.
