St James Patronal Festival on Sunday 30th July. The service at St James on this Sunday will be an opportunity to celebrate the life and work of St James. We will be joined by the congregation of St Barnabas for this service.
Farewell to Rev Matt Hodder Our Team Curate, Rev Matt, has been appointed as Priest-in-Charge of St Peter-in-Thanet Church in Broadstairs. His final service in the Bexley Team will be on Sunday 6th August, 10.45am at St Barnabas. This will be followed by some cakes and drinks, which everyone is very welcome to come along to. He will then be licensed in the new Parish on Sunday 10th September at 7pm, which all are welcome to attend.

Flowers in Church I believe that we all appreciate the beautiful flowers that are in church every week. The flower ladies do an incredible job and it is a big commitment they make and we thank them for what they do. As many of you are aware flowers have become increasingly expensive and we would like to start a new initiative. If you have a special birthday or anniversary or would like to remember the passing of a loved one in the form of flowers in church. We would like to invite you to contribute to the cost of the flowers for that specific date. Please speak to Suzy Higgs for more information.
