MOTHERS’ UNION

The Mothers’ Union October branch meeting will be on Thursday 28th October at 2.30pm in the Harold Porter Hall behind St Barnabas Church.  Our theme is 'Back in Time in Bexley’  and Bella Smith will be sharing her research findings! We welcome any visitors who are interested in the work of Mothers’ Union or have been members elsewhere.

Mothers’ Union Autumn Members Meeting Saturday 30th October 9.30am - 2.30pm at the Christ Church Centre, Charterhouse Road, Orpington Please let Kathy Hubbard (via Ren) know if you wish to attend this meeting so she can book you a place.

 

Friends of St Mary’s and the Grove Singers present ‘A Celebration of Birds in Song’ Saturday 30th October at 7.00 pm. Tickets £10 including refreshments

North Cray community’s Festival of Remembrance Sunday 7th November (the weekend before Remembrance Sunday) Programme - 9.30 am BCP Holy Communion at St James, followed by a parade from the War Memorial to the Scouts’ Geoffrey Hall, Leafield Lane, North Cray where there will be a display of stories and memorabilia.

Bexley Winter Shelter: Volunteers Wanted!: As with the 2021 season, Bexley Winter Shelter will be providing guests with individual accommodation for the 2022 season, however they will be able to bring guests together for communal meals and will require volunteers from churches and the community to facilitate this. To register interest or for further details, please email volunteer@bexleywintershelter.org.uk.
